OK, so there’s no set picnic season in the Bas-Saint-Laurent, in fact, locals love a good picnic at any time of the year… BUT it’s got to be said that summertime picnics are unbeatable! It’s only natural, as the days start to grow longer, our energy levels pick back up. Take a page from the locals’ book and stock up on local products, head out on a hike in the countryside or throw down your picnic blanket on the banks of the St. Lawrence, then tuck in! Sometimes the simplest meals are the tastiest.
