Collaboration with Nathalie Sicard

These days, there's a real enthusiasm in the air for buying locally made, handcrafted items.

That's a good thing, especially if you're heading to the Bas-Saint-Laurent region which abounds with artisans of all disciplines, as well as a myriad of boutiques showcasing their creations.

If you like beautiful things that have some soul to them, you'll want to visit these places and who knows, you might walk away with that rare find you've been looking for!

Les Créations Mojo Boutique Champêtre, Saint-Simon-de-Rimouski

Looking for a little something to spruce up your garden or add a touch of the country to your home decor?

You might just find what you're looking for in this boutique next to Highway 132! It showcases a wide variety of decoration items in farmhouse and rustic styles, perfect for your home and garden, such as wall decorations, metal signs and decorative items, kitchenware, cushions, small colourful carpets, house linens and much more!

You can also find owner Monelle Parent's own “Signé Mojo” original creations, the graceful and highly sought-after figurines of cormorants and gulls made from driftwood from “Créations Bern'Art”, and the coastal-style decorations made by artist Claire Dubé.

Les Petits Bonheurs de Marguerite, Saint-Alexandre-de-Kamouraska

Whether you're looking for fashion or decorations, here's a place where you'll surely find something that'll bring a little happiness to your life.

In an interior just as cozy as the colourful front of the century-old building that houses it, you'll find a host of beautiful items to make your everyday life more cheerful: pottery, mugs, glassware, floral arrangements, artisanal creations, and a wide selection of jewellery from near and far.

There's more, though! The owner also has a nose for finding the finest European and Québécois clothing. You also won't want to miss their Facebook page where you'll find animated videos made by the boutique's team presenting their new collections. They post one daily. That's dedication!

Art Académie and Art Gallery, Rivière-du-Loup

A gallery, a boutique and an art school all wrapped into one, Art Académie lets its guests dive into the world of glass art, which owner, artist, and teacher Joanie Michaud knows very well.

The gallery space showcases her artwork, her drawings, and her paintings, along with those of several artists from the region, while the boutique focuses on stained glass creations, Tiffany-style lighting fixtures, mosaic works, fusion glass jewelry and decorative objects. C

ourses are also offered throughout the year on a wide variety of subjects such as stained glass, mosaics, fusion glass creation, drawing and painting, and there are also creative workshops (decorative cushions, knitting, crochet).
