Welcome to Saint-Fabien Campground! Your ideal gateway to the Rimouski-Neigette region in the Lower St. Lawrence. Whether you’re traveling by tent, campervan, or medium to large RV, our campground offers a rejuvenating experience nestled between forest, countryside, and the river.

Our Three Campsite Areas

Les Murailles Area — Rustic Car-Free Camping

Nestled between the shade of the forest and the bright fields, at the entrance to the Coulombe Trail, the Les Murailles area features 29 rustic sites designed for disconnecting and living in harmony with nature.

Car-Free Concept: Leave your car in the parking lot at the entrance. Carts are available for transporting your gear. With no motorized traffic, the area guarantees peace and security.

Site Amenities: Most sites have a wooden platform (12×12″), a picnic table, and a secure fire pit.

Nearby Services: Drinking water, electricity, free Wi-Fi, and lockable lockers for charging mobile devices are located near the washrooms.

Community Areas: Two communal fire pits are available (a large covered pavilion near the services and a second fire pit to the north, facing the forest and ideal for stargazing).

Van-Life Sector — Self-Sufficient Stopover

Located back from Route 132, this sector features 11 spacious and secluded sites, specifically designed for self-contained vehicles.

Space and Tranquility: An intimate setting nestled between the woods and offering pastoral views, just steps from the Coulombe Trail access point.

Amenities: Each site offers a picnic table and an outdoor fire pit.

Included services: Access to the dump station and fresh water tank refill.

Municipal Sector — Friendly and Convenient

Shaded by large, mature trees, the municipal sector offers 36 sites suitable for all types of equipment (tents, compact RVs, and RVs from 15 to 35 feet):

Site types: Sites with 3 services (water, 30A electricity, sewer), 2 services (water, 30A electricity), or no services.

Amenities: Picnic table and fire pit on each site. Access to the dump station and fresh water tank refill for RVs is included.

Location: Located near the village of Saint-Fabien and Route 132. Note for those sensitive to road noise: choose a site further away from the autoroute.

New & Service Facilities

A member of the Vélo Québec network, Camping Saint-Fabien offers modernized facilities for cyclists:

Mechanical repair station (Biciborne).

Bike racks located throughout the site.

Secure indoor lockers (2 double lockers) accessible during reception hours.

Full access to laundry facilities and showers.

VIP welcome for canine companions

Dogs on leashes (maximum length 2 meters) are welcome. Specific facilities are available for them:

A dog-friendly outdoor shower and automatic water fountain in front of the service building.

Integrated tethering rings on the picnic tables.

Exclusive forest obstacle course park (opening planned for the end of summer 2026).

Professional daycare service in partnership with the neighboring Moulin et Compagnons.

Rules: Animals are not permitted in the indoor showers and must be under control at all times. Dog waste must be picked up.

Service Pavilion and Community Space

Service Pavilion: Showers, toilets, laundry facilities, patio with charcoal barbecue, community fire pit, and bicycle repair station.

Community Room (basement of the reception area): Equipped kitchen, dining area, toilets, and laundry facilities accessible during reception hours.

Information Stop and Shop: Discover local artisan products, camping essentials, and tourist information about the region.

A Destination: Halte, Nature, and Culture

HALTE: A peaceful stopover, ideal for an overnight stay or a longer visit to the Lower St. Lawrence region.

NATURE: Direct access to the Sentier des Coulombe (free 6 km trail, intermediate level) offering panoramic viewpoints overlooking the St. Lawrence River, the countryside, and the village. Located near Bic National Park.

CULTURE: Close to the village of Saint-Fabien, its historic Old Theatre, artisan shops, and the cultural programming of the Bic area.
