About

Saint-Modeste: a sporty, creative, and welcoming village. Located just minutes from Rivière-du-Loup, Saint-Modeste stands out for its vibrant energy, outdoor facilities, and lively community spirit. It is a place to get active, explore, and come together to share great experiences with family and friends.

The Saint-Modeste pump track is one of the largest in Quebec and truly one of a kind. Spanning 1,500 m² with a 209-meter track length, it impresses everyone from young riders to seasoned cycling enthusiasts. Located behind the youth center, it has quickly become a go-to spot for fun and safe challenges.

The village is traversed by the Petit-Témis interprovincial bike trail, a route prized for its natural scenery and tranquility. At the heart of this trail lies the Café de la Station, a popular stop for light meals, homemade desserts, beverages, and packed lunches. With its summer terraces, it is the perfect place to refuel between rides.

Saint-Modeste also comes alive with culture. In the autumn, the “Shows de St-Mo” event features music and tastings, bringing together around twenty artists alongside local microbreweries, distilleries, and restaurants.

The event showcases emerging talent across a variety of genres, including punk-rock, jazz, *chanson* (French-language song), and more. In the spring, comedy takes center stage as up-and-coming performers come to entertain the community.
