Pohenegamook is situated in the southern part of Bas-Saint-Laurent administrative region. The city is bordered by Maine State (USA) in its South portion and is located close to New Brunswick province. With its eponymous lake and its warm microclimate, the place is a well known vacation destination.

Once at Pohenegamook, put on your swimsuit and try the largest aquatic inflatable structure in Quebec. Explore the lake by kayak, paddle board or sail. Play a round of golf in an enchanting lansdcape or hike forest trails at the Montagne de la base. Enjoy the beach and safe swimming facilities, visit the Canada-USA border or have a picnic in one of our many parks with the wole family. Snowmobilers and quadders are invited to use marked trails to travel the land and admire the diversity of the landscapes.

During the fall season, pick your own apples at the old orchard and discover the forgotten flavors of ancestral varieties. Find out about the cultural center's program, learn about our religious heritage or visit the wayside crosses circuit. Many events are held throughout the year.
