Municipalité de Biencourt

5, rue Berger, Biencourt, Québec G0K 1T0

About

The municipality of Biencourt, located in the canton of the same name, was established in 1947. It is part of the Témiscouata MRC and is inhabited by less than six hundred Biencourtois and Biencourtoises.

The municipal campsite located on the edge of Lake Biencourt and near the Mont Biencourt ski center (three kilometers) offers accommodation options. There are eighteen cabins for rent, ten of which can be rented all year round, camping units for trailers and tent trailers, a community building with laundry service and showers, etc. In summer, Lake Biencourt satisfies those thirsty for vacations, water activities and fishing.

Among the municipality’s recreational and tourism facilities, the Mont Biencourt ski center is one of the main attractions. Located in an enchanting site, thirteen ski slopes are available to skiers. We have five expert slopes, six intermediate slopes and two beginner slopes. There are also four landscaped glades and a tube slide with ski lift. We have a snowboard park, two lifts and 100% natural snow. The center also offers the following services: restaurant, bar, ski school, security patrol, equipment rental, easy access for snowmobilers. The height difference is 185 meters and the capacity of the center is more than two thousand one hundred skiers per hour.

With these breathtaking landscapes, spring is the ideal season for maple syrup production, which is one of the main sources of employment in the municipality.

Biencourt, a place to discover!
