For a gourmet getaway in the heart of Kamouraska, head for Saint-Pascal, where Hôtel Victoria, Verre amical, awaits you with plates to share, carefully selected wines and a warm, unpretentious ambience.

This summer, let yourself be surprised by inventive market cuisine and a welcome as generous as the cocktail menu.

What we offer here is local cuisine, made with heart and local products.

explains co-owner-chef Marie-Fleur St-Pierre.

With more than 20 years’ experience behind the stove in Montreal, she creates inspired seasonal cuisine: crisp salads, raw fish, grilled meats and an Asian touch, such as the dumplings that have become emblematic of the house.

The menu changes regularly, allowing regulars and the curious to try something new with each visit.

Sommelier Julie Barrette, also newly arrived from Montreal, ensures that dishes are paired with the finest vintages, drawing on winemakers from near and far.

I work with people’s tastes.
The idea is to
accompany the meal without imposing. You can taste, try and discover.
It
has to be simple and enjoyable.

says the woman who spent nearly two decades at Leméac.

And for a successful aperitif, it’s hard to miss the Sumac Sour, Le Verre amical’s signature cocktail.

Combining local sumac and Peruvian pisco, it epitomizes the spirit of the place: refined, relaxed and firmly rooted in its territory. Behind the bar, Samuel Dionne, a local native, infuses the establishment with a youthful, festive energy.

Samuel brings a local touch and a sense of community. It’s a place that comes alive in the evening.

Julie points out.

Here, you can dine with family or friends, on the terrace or indoors, in an unpretentious setting where the pleasure of good food takes center stage. Just a stone’s throw from the station, Hôtel Victoria, Verre amical is more than just a restaurant: it’s a landmark for epicureans passing through or loyal to the region.
