In the Bas-Saint-Laurent region, 14 panels have been installed at strategic locations along the Route de La Pocatière to Sainte-Luce, a fun route covering more than 200 km.
Whether you’re traveling with the family, as a romantic getaway or solo, the digital fun trail is a great way to enhance your stay on the Route and create lasting memories right from the start.

How does it work?
At each of the 14 locations, you’ll find a panel that you can scan using your cell phone. You’ll be immersed in different adventures through your phone.
Learn and discover unusual aspects, stories and legends that form the very soul of Bas-Saint-Laurent. The content takes the form of audio and video capsules, interviews with people involved and fascinating stories.

You’ll discover a magnificent view of the St. Lawrence River, a landscape interpretation circuit, access to the Route Verte and Route Bleue and a picnic area.
The tourist information office is located in a village-relais offering a variety of services and a safe, pleasant stopping place.

#2 – Rivière-Ouelle
The wharf area at Pointe-aux-Orignaux offers a remarkable view of the river, marked by eel fishing nets and the Charlevoix relief, as well as an original built heritage with the Chapelle du Quai.
In the past, the site was a hub of the lumber trade, which was transported by rail to the wharf to be loaded onto schooners.
The site is ideal for a breath of fresh air, birdwatching, picnics or lounging on the beach. You can also fish for smelt.

#3 – Saint-Denis-De La Bouteillerie
Also known as the Parc municipal de Saint-Denis-de-la-Bouteillerie, this park features a belvedere offering citizens and tourists alike a magnificent view of the St. Lawrence River. An ideal spot for a family picnic.

#4 – Kamouraska
By day or by night, the Taché quay is a meeting place for vacationers, photography enthusiasts and pleasure boaters.
The municipal wharf offers spectacular views of the river, the Kamouraska islands, the municipality, the beach and the boardwalk. Picnic area and public toilets on site.
It’s also the starting point for kayak excursions with SEBKA and zodiac trips with Zodiac Aventure.

#5 – Saint-André-de-Kamouraska
The park features trails where interpretive panels reveal the secrets of nature and the landscape.
At the heart of the park is the Petit-Phare lighthouse, reminiscent of the one that once stood on one of the Pèlerins islands.
Inside the lighthouse is a large table and chairs open to the public. It’s the ideal place to shelter from the wind or enjoy a family picnic.

#6 – Notre-Dame-du-Portage
Situated at the eastern entrance to the village, Parc de l’Anse features a small boardwalk, picnic tables and close proximity to the river.
This pleasant stroll is the ideal starting point for exploring the heritage circuit on foot, or simply relaxing to the rhythm of the tides.

#8 – Cacouna
The Matuweskewin art studio-boutique welcomes and showcases the skills and traditions of Maliseet and First Nations artists and craftspeople, offering unique and original pieces. Located on the present-day reserve of the Maliseet community of Cacouna, the Maison Denis-Launière is the last vestige of the Maliseet presence in the Lower St. Lawrence.
Putep’t-awt, the Wolastoqey word for “beluga trail”, is a 2 km digital walking trail that invites visitors to discover Wolastoqey culture in an enchanting natural setting.
At the summit of Mont Gros-Cacouna, an observatory offers a spectacular view of the St. Lawrence and an immersive experience of beluga life.

Trois-Pistole is a great place to stop for a vacation. There’s no shortage of things to do in this town, from sea kayaking and excursions to Île aux Basques, to visits to artisan workshops and art galleries, heritage buildings including the remarkable church, and boutiques selling regional products.
Here, you can stroll along the shore, admire splendid sunsets and be charmed by the cute cottages lining the river.

From the mouth of the river, the Sentier du littoral et de la rivière Rimouski (Rimouski Coastal and River Trail) guides you to Rocher Blanc, between woodlands and salt marshes, punctuated by interpretation panels and poetic stones paying tribute to the river. Perfect for walking or cycling.

Located in the heart of the city, this well-appointed park is sure to please! In addition to offering a rest and picnic area, this seaside rest area lets you admire the city of Rimouski and its cathedral.
The spectacle is even more stunning at sunset, when the city lights come on. The adjacent beach is a great place to stretch your toes and the little ones in tow.

Picnic and sunset tonight? Spread the tablecloth on the sand, unpack the basket and sip your aperitif as the sun sets.
