When snow blankets Témiscouata, the region transforms into a vast adventure playground where winter comes into its own. Over 500 kilometers of carefully maintained snowmobile trails crisscross forests and mountains, connecting welcoming villages and breathtaking panoramas.

The Découverte du Témiscouata circuit, which runs through the heart of the town of Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac, is a must-see. Stop here to enjoy a good meal or stay in accommodation located right on the trails. Planning your getaway couldn’t be easier: the interactive map of the town lists all the useful addresses and services.

But snowmobiling is just a prelude to a thousand and one outdoor pleasures.

Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing enthusiasts will find what they’re looking for at the family outdoor center, where tubing is also guaranteed to bring laughter.

The more adventurous will dare to take to the vast and majestic Lake Témiscouata to try snowkiting—a unique experience where freedom takes flight.

Not to mention the crossing to St-Juste-du-Lac on one of the few ice bridges in Quebec
It’s an experience in itself!

When it’s time to warm up, the Beaulieu Culturel du Témiscouata is the place to be.

Shows, workshops, and lively evenings are held there throughout the winter, including the famous Pub Quiz nights, which are so popular that it’s best to arrive early to get a seat.

For a family day out, the PGR recreation center is the place to be: water games, indoor park, indoor running and walking track, giant screen sports simulator, and even a seven-story outdoor tower to admire the view of the lake and snow-capped mountains.

And for skating enthusiasts, the Cascades arena offers several open skating sessions each week, with free skate and helmet rentals.
