A weekend in
The Mitis
The Mitis region invites you to slow down and fully savor the moment. Nestled between the St. Lawrence River and the Appalachian Plateau, the landscape naturally shifts between forests, fields, beaches, lakes, and rivers. A peaceful setting in the Bas-Saint-Laurent where people come to breathe, walk, and simply take their time.
A stroll along Anse-aux-Coques in Sainte-Luce, a visit to the famous Jardins de Métis, or a few moments spent admiring the river are enough to appreciate the region’s understated charm. Here, days are filled with simple pleasures and spontaneous stops. The Mitis region is best discovered at a leisurely pace, over a weekend where you savor the joy of doing almost nothing.
