This hike invites you to discover the signature landscapes of Kamouraska. The route begins at the SEBKA Visitor Center (P1), where you can access the Aboiteaux Trail, which runs along the St. Lawrence River shoreline. You’ll follow this trail for about 1 km before reaching the Écoliers Trail. This trail forms a 3.2 km loop, taking roughly 90 minutes to complete. It leads to the ascent of a cabouron, a distinctive landform of the region, from which breathtaking views of the St. Lawrence River and the surrounding countryside await you. The hike is gentle overall but includes a few steeper sections. Alternating between forest, farmland, and coastal landscapes, the trail is dotted with lookouts offering unique and striking viewpoints throughout the route.
