Built in 1744, Lamontagne House is the oldest half-timbered stone residence open to the public in Eastern Quebec. Almost 300 years old, it was built for Marie-Agnès Lepage, granddaughter of the first resident lord of Rimouski.
Exhibitions and themes related to life in New France and the evolution of domestic architecture in Quebec. Batch of bread, musical performances, a historic vegetable garden, and shop selling regional products complete the museum’s offerings.
