Circuit d’art public du Haut-Pays de Kamouraska
About
Set out in search of the giant postage stamps of the Haut-Pays de Kamouraska.
They illustrate key identity elements of the Haut-Pays, such as the presence of the Wolastoqiyik Nation, the vanished village of Rivière-Manie, log driving, hunting, fishing, mushroom picking, or the maple sugaring season.
These 22 works, created by artists Miguel Forest and Pierre Brignaud, are displayed on barns, sheds, or municipal buildings.
They were produced as part of the 2nd edition of the Public Art Call for Projects for the Haut-Pays de Kamouraska route.
Will you also be able to find the 8 works from the 1st edition? Hint: some are in the fields as well as on walls…
