Club de ski de fond Mouski offers a nearly 10 km classic ski loop with access to two warming shelters equipped with wood stoves, ideal for a lunch break along the way. The route begins on Trail No. 1, which starts out flat before winding through a peat bog dominated by black spruce (3.2 km), then follows a cedar forest along Chaud Creek. The first climbs appear shortly after, crossing a mixed forest and leading to the Mésange shelter (5 km). The return follows Trail No. 2, offering enjoyable descents toward Grand Lac Macpès, which the trail then follows for 2.4 km to the Huard shelter. The final section provides a thrilling downhill stretch toward Grand Lac Pointu. The last kilometre is flat, skirting the lake before returning to the main chalet.
