The municipality of Rivière-Bleue has so many stories to tell. Its geographical location (meeting point of the borders of Quebec, New Brunswick and the United States) made it the scene of numerous illicit activities during prohibition.

Rivière-Bleue makes you discover the 1920s and its obscure past as well as the railway history which played a big role in the development of the region. The Bootlegger Festival is organized there in honor of the prohibition era.

The proximity to nature, the presence of lakes and rivers, the interpretation of the flora, the setting the establishment of hiking trails and mountain bike trails and the creation of numerous circuits highlighting regional heritage are sure to delight visitors. Hunting and fishing enthusiasts are invited to discover this very rich territory.
