This trail system explores the border region between Maine, New Brunswick and Québec. The water trail uses the network of rivers and lakes along the United States border to navigate from Pohénégamook to Saint-François-de- Madawaska. The bike trail follows Route 289 and secondary roads between Pohénégamook and Beau Lac. From there, mountain bikers and hikers can continue to the campground at Lac Glazier in New Brunswick by way of a section of the Sentiers 3 Frontières still being developed.
