Although settlement dates back to the 17th century, Notre-Dame-des-Neiges de Trois-Pistoles was founded in 1855 and subsequently subdivided into two municipalities in 1916. Its coastline, made up of cliffs, bays, beaches and the famous Trois-Pistoles River, is bordered by a string of islands and offers sumptuous panoramic views.
