Municipalité de Saint-Charles-Garnier

With the Mistigougèche River running through it, surrounded by lakes, bordered by the Appalachian Mountains and just a stone’s throw from the Bas-Saint-Laurent ZEC, this quaint mountaintop village welcomes visitors with fabulous views all around. It took a lot of courage to clear the rocky terrain of this lovely part of countryside around 1935 and then build the church, built entirely of wood and boasting a remarkable acoustic, a local pride.
