    enjoying the scenery.

    holidaymakers, reservation: chaletsalouer.com.
    From the Chapel,
    visitors can observe the river, the strikes, the beach and
    magnificent sunsets. A path and a belvedere are now set up along
    Anse-des-Mercier which ends at a belvedere allowing the observation
    of birds of the coastal marshes.

  • Schedule

    In season, from June 23 to September 5, the Chapel is open five days a week, Thursday to Monday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Chapelle du Quai de Rivière-Ouelle is located in Pointe-aux-Orignaux. The site offers a fascinating point of view: the wharf, the river, the beaches, the flora, the birds, the coasts of Charlevoix and of course the sunsets. The point is the most advanced place in the river east of Quebec, hence the profusion of birds and therefore a place sought after by ornithologists. La Chapelle du quai, near Kamouraska, is on the national cycling circuit. La Chapelle is accredited by Kéroul.

La Chapelle is a dynamic activity center during the summer season for the pleasure of tourists and seasonal residents. In 2021, in addition to special events for the 350th anniversary of Rivière-Ouelle, it offers:

  • - An exhibition and sale of products from local artisans, artists and producers;
  • - Representations of regional artists;
  • - An astonishing competition for driftwood sculptures;
  • - Heritage discovery and enhancement activities;
  • - The kite festival in collaboration with the municipality of Rivière-Ouelle.

.... and of course excellent coffees and snacks to be enjoyed inside or on our magnificent terrace.
