Get ready for some spooky fun in the area !

Writing
Laura Martin, she shares her crushes and discoveries with us for our greatest happiness!
Dig out your shaggy wig, decorative pumpkins, and bottle of fake blood: Halloween is just around the corner!
In October, we dim the lights and invite thrills, treats, and friendly ghosts to take over the area.
Whether you’re up for a series of scares or prefer to go easy on your poor heart, you’ll find something to make you tremble with delight. 1, 2, 3… BOO!
Mystery in La Pocatière
In La Poc, we know how to entertain.
We don’t just summon ghosts for one night—we give them the keys to the city for four days, where all kinds of scares are allowed.
From October 22 to 25, the city celebrates goosebumps with its 19th edition.
A scary trail in the Collège mountain, a horror movie night, and a classic costume parade in the city center await mere mortals.
It’s becoming so big that the deputy even mentioned it in the National Assembly.
Horror at the museum
Why stay at home watching a horror movie when you can experience it… as a group? On October 30, the Rimouski Museum is hosting an evening that is as original as it is frightening.
On the program: a screening of John Carpenter’s cult classic Halloween (1978), preceded by a performance lecture by Sébastien Croteau, death metal singer, actor, and creature voice specialist for film and video games.
He will show you, in the flesh and with guttural breath, how humans can transform into beasts. A free and unique activity.
Let’s take a walk in the woods…
The Forest of Mysteries has become a family classic in Rivière-du-Loup.
On October 25, in the morning and afternoon, strange and funny characters will roam the leaf-strewn paths of Parc des Chutes, handing out jelly beans and thrills.
For adults who haven’t had their fill of adrenaline, a mystery trail will stretch through downtown on November 1, after dark.
October 32 on Earth
We admit it: we’re crazy about the wacky concepts at the Grand Labyrinthe Kamouraska. The second edition of its La Pocalyspe course will be held on October 32 (or November 1 for the more down-to-earth).
In the afternoon, kids can chase monsters hidden among the rows of corn. In the evening, it will be the monsters’ turn to chase willing participants. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the provincial pumpkin throwing championship will be held.
Everyone is invited to come and throw their pumpkin as far as possible. That’s one less to freeze into purée!
A circus that makes you tense
The Cirque de la Pointe-Sèche never runs out of inspiration.
For the third year in a row, the troupe is transforming its gloomy site in Saint-Germain-de-Kamouraska into a thrill fair. On October 24, the doors will open to families and little monsters for an evening that is more gentle than terrifying, more wonder than screams.
The next day, the tone changes. Participants 18 and older will need to have a strong stomach to make it through the animated course.
