Archipel Festival: Experience Summer in Kamouraska
Writing
Marc Larouche, he shares with us his tourist discoveries of his adopted region with passion!
The Archipel Festival is back in full force for a fourth edition that promises to be irresistible. From Friday, July 10, to Sunday, July 12, 2026, the event will transform Kamouraska’s municipalities into true artistic playgrounds, where culture will come alive along the river, in villages, and at heritage sites. Let the party begin!
A unique programmation
This summer, Archipel offers a three-part journey, each with its own venue and atmosphere.
On Friday, the kickoff will take place in Kamouraska, at the Art Center, with a free, vibrant, and unifying launch featuring performances, food trucks, DJs, and nothing less than an original creation by Cirque la Pointe-Sèche designed specifically for Archipel.
The evening continues with “Super Plage”, a true dance machine, featuring music described as “luminous electro nu-disco.”
Then, it’s time for the enchanting softness of Viviane Audet at the Kamouraska church, in a piano, voice, and harp performance of great delicacy.
An eclectique saturday
On Saturday, head to Saint-Pascal for an immersive experience in the heart of the village.
The festive afternoon will take place right in the town center, around the church and the rectory, in the sun or shade, transforming the area into a lively space where you’ll want to linger.
Dance, a clown cabaret (yes, really!), street music with the Orchestre Continental, street food, and a friendly atmosphere—everything will be in place to fully enjoy the moment.
On stage, the next generation will shine with “Bientôt Philippe,” followed by Sara and Rebecca, a duo with bold and vibrant sounds.
To close out the day, a rare treat: Les Sœurs Boulay and Elliot Maginot coming together in a show tailor-made for festivals. A unique and intimate gathering. In fact, it was Les Sœurs Boulay themselves who expressed a desire to perform for Archipel, proof that the festival has already earned its stripes within the artistic community.
Tribute to Victor-Lévy Beaulieu
On Sunday, head to Saint-Denis-de-la-Bouteillerie, set in a bucolic riverside setting. A day dedicated to discovery and emotion.
Words will come to life through readings presented in the chapel, during a living tribute to Victor-Lévy Beaulieu featuring Christian Lapointe.
Then, dance and creativity will take center stage with Ivanie Aubin-Malo and Soraïda Caron, in works rooted in the local landscape and identities.
Finally, in an intimate setting, Émilie Perreault, a well-known Radio-Canada host, will close the festival with “La suspension consentie de l’incrédulité,” a reflection on our relationship with art and culture.
Archipel is more than a festival. It is an experience. A moment suspended between sky and river, between encounters and discoveries, where we take the time to experience culture in a different way. Archipel will be your summer destination, from Friday, July 10 to Sunday, July 12, 2026.
