This tour covers 20 celestial-themed gardens in Témiscouata. The latest
addition to the tour is the Khronos garden, a unique installation at the
New Brunswick Botanical Garden – the only such garden designed for the
interpretation of space and time in North America.
Attractions and Activities
Each community has chosen an astronomical feature or phenomenon to represent, taking inspiration from the village’s name, surroundings or history. For example, Lejeune’s garden represents the Aurora Borealis; in Saint-Louis-du-Ha! Ha!, the Perseids are featured; in Dégelis, it’s the North Star; in Saint-Cyprien, the moon and its legends; and in Auclair, the phases of the moon.
