Built in 1833, this house belonged to Jean-Charles Chapais (1811-1885), one of the Fathers of Confederation, who passed it on to his son, historian Thomas Chapais (1858-1946). Enjoy a unique experience in this stately 19th century residence. Stroll the restored gardens and don't miss Dimanche champêtre the "Country Sunday" events, the gift shop or the geocaching rallies.
