Our mandate
The mandate of Tourisme Bas-Saint-Laurent is to position the Bas-Saint-Laurent as one of the main vacation destinations in Québec, to foster the development of tourist products as well as to market those products. Tourism is a key sector of the Bas-Saint-Laurent economy: it represents 850 businesses, 7 800 jobs, 1 143 000 visitors and more than $345 million annually in economic benefits.

Our vision
Whether you choose to stay for a short period or for an extended stay, the Bas-Saint-Laurent region is synonym of relaxation, getaway and wellness. Let yourself be swept away by the majestic St. Lawrence River (which becomes, here, the Sea), the invigorating sea air, the most beautiful sunsets in the world, the upper region filled with lakes, the unspoiled nature and by the rich maritime and cultural heritage - all marked by the population's passion, know-how and warm hospitality!
