Covering the length of the St. Lawrence on both shores, the Lighthouse Trail is even more fascinating in the Bas-Saint-Laurent this year because the Île Verte light, the oldest on the St. Lawrence, is celebrating its 200th birthday and the Point-au-Père light, the second tallest in Canada, will blow out 100 candles. The trail also includes the lighthouses on Brandy Pot Island and Biquette Island.
