The 1850 Maison Girard houses the visitors’ centre for the Réserve, a Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park Discovery Site and Sea Station of the Réseau des Haltes marines (maritime site network).
Attractions and Activities
A free guided tour includes a permanent exhibit on the peat bogs, waterfowl, plants and habitats of the Réserve. Five kilometres of trails border the shores of the St. Lawrence. Interpretation of the wetlands and their wildlife. Duck-banding packages available (mid-August to early September). Information pamphlet available.
