Parc marin du Saguenay-Saint-Laurent

The Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park is a protected marine area that includes a portion of the St. Lawrence Estuary and the Saguenay Fjord. It was created to protect marine life, promote educational and recreational activities, and foster scientific research.

Attractions and Activities

Visit the Reception and Orientation Centres to learn all about the park, the only one of its kind in Canada.

In the Bas-Saint-Laurent, visitors can discover the marine park’s natural diversity and cultural wealth through its many attractions and services.

Activities range from observation of marine wildlife and excursions to the islands, to hiking, sea kayaking and visiting museums.
