This 134-km hike and bike trail follows the path of an old railroad and is accessible from all the towns along its route. Users can enjoy many natural attractions: rivers, lakes and marshes; observation of herons, beavers, birds and deer herds.
Attractions and Activities
The Café de la Station, in Saint-Modeste, offers a light meal or a sack lunch to go. Three rustic campgrounds along the trail (five tent sites each) are available for rent. A free map is available in tourist information centres in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region.
