This interpretation center offers the opportunity to discover a unique coastal environment. Through a variety of topics, you will have the chance to live a unique experience in the salt marsh of La Pocatière. During your adventure, your senses will be sought to unearth treasures and get inside an amazing ecosystem.
The center is part of the network le réseau des haltes marine de la route des Navigateurs.
 
Attractions and activities
By an environmental point of vu 
Guided hikes, bird identification, tidal pool surveys (be prepared to find worms, clams, scuds, sticklebacks, etc...), capture live fish in bait trap and discover the edible and invasive plants of the marsh.
 
By an artistic point of vu
Nathalie Levasseur, artist from Val-David (http://nathalielevasseur.net), will perform an original work integrated into the environment in the saltmarshes of La Pocatière from June 18 to July 8, 2012. The work will remain in place until September 15. The opening will take place Sunday, July 8, 2012 at 14:00 at the Halte marine de La Pocatière. Welcome to everyone!
 
Hours
July 1 to August 19.
Open Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from 9 am to 17 pm.
Reservations requested for all other activities.

Rubber boots can be borrowed for activities in the marsh
